The Global Microsoft 365 Developer Bootcamp happen worldwide from October 1 through December 15, 2019. This bootcamps are a free, one-day, hands-on training event led by Microsoft MVP’s and other community leaders with support from Microsoft. Developers worldwide are invited to attend a Bootcamp to learn the latest on Microsoft 365 platform including Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Framework, Microsoft Teams, Office Add-ins, Connectors and Actionable Messages and apply what you learn to your future projects.
This year I had the privilege of being a speaker at this cool event in Microsoft’s brand new nice office in Stockholm, and in this bootcamp I shared a session with my colleague and friend Xtofor, the dude behind the blog ‘Let’s learn O365‘.
Our topic was “Introduction to the SharePoint Framework” and the purpose of this session was mostly to inspire what you can do with SPFx and how fun it is actually to work with the techniques that are behind this development methodology, and not at all as difficult as it may seem, which I sometimes get the impression that those who have not yet started learning how to build web parts and more with SPFx. I hope we succeeded in simplifying the image and inspiring more developers to start developing on the client side with SPFx!
As we also said in our session, if someone wants to get started with SPFx, and for example has a background and knowledge in JS, HTML & CSS and wants to start building for SharePoint, we are happy to help and show you how to start from the set up of your development environment so you can write your first web party, just ping us if you are nearby!
